Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all tutoring lessons booked with Liba Mahmood ("I", "me") via byliba.co/tutoring. By booking a lesson, you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings

Lessons can be booked via Calendly or by sending an enquiry through this site. A trial or free consultation can be arranged before committing to ongoing lessons.

2. Payment

Lessons are invoiced and paid in advance, monthly, by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
Payment is due before the first lesson of the billing period.
Current rates: from £35/hour (GCSE), from £40/hour (A-Level) — see Pricing for up-to-date rates.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Lessons cancelled with proper notice will be rescheduled or credited towards your next invoice.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full, except in genuine emergencies.
If I need to cancel a lesson, I will give as much notice as possible and offer a reschedule or credit — you will not be charged.

4. Lesson Conduct

Lessons are held online via Google Meet unless otherwise agreed.
Students are expected to attend on time, with any relevant materials (past papers, textbooks) ready.
A calm, respectful environment is expected from all parties.

5. Safeguarding

I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and have completed training in Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have any concerns during or about a lesson, please contact me directly.

6. Liability

While I aim to provide the best possible tuition, I cannot guarantee specific grades or exam outcomes, as these depend on many factors beyond lessons alone.

7. Complaints

If you're ever unhappy with a lesson or my service, please get in touch directly at libam1714@gmail.com so I can put it right.

8. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to book lessons after an update means you accept the current version, which will always be published at this page.
