This Privacy Policy explains how Liba Mahmood ("I", "me") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use this website (byliba.co) or my private tutoring services.
Who I am
I'm an independent private tutor based in the UK, providing 1:1 online GCSE and A-Level Maths and Computer Science tuition. You can contact me at libam1714@gmail.com.
What information I collect
- Enquiry form: name, email, phone number, subject, year group, preferred contact method, and any details you share about learning needs.
- Direct contact: if you email, WhatsApp, or call me directly, I hold whatever information you choose to share (e.g. your child's name, year group, exam board).
- Website usage: this site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind.
How I use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange lessons
- To plan and personalise tutoring content for each student
- To process payments and keep basic records for tax purposes
I do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who I share it with
I use a small number of trusted services to run my tutoring business, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Google Meet / Gmail — for lesson delivery and email communication
- Calendly — for lesson scheduling
- FormSubmit.co — to process the enquiry form on this site and forward it to my email
I don't use any other third-party analytics or advertising services on this site.
Children's information
As tuition is often for students under 18, enquiries and lesson details may include a child's name and academic information, submitted by a parent or guardian on the child's behalf. This information is used only to provide tutoring and is not shared beyond what's necessary to deliver lessons.
How long I keep information
I retain enquiry and lesson records for as long as needed to provide tutoring and meet basic accounting/tax obligations (typically up to 6 years), after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask me to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time — just email libam1714@gmail.com.
